We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
Application Information Collection
All of the policies above for the website are also adherent to the Query.AI application with some additional detail. The Query.AI application does not store any customer log data. When the application is configured to retrieve data from a 3rd party platform that data is maintained and controlled by the source application or log source. The Query.AI application translates various queries into the syntax of the 3rd party API’s or relevant data access.
When you generate queries through the application your question is posted to the application. The translated query is then sent back to the browser. Then the application, from the browser makes the calls to the 3rd party data sources and the data is returned to the browser. At no time is log data processed nor stored by Query.AI cloud infrastructure. The only data received by Query.AI cloud application is the questions posted by the user.
All questions through the Query.AI application are analyzed and processed for translation(s). Query.AI does store these questions for future reference for assisting analysts in their next step of their investigations. At no time is this data attributable to any user or organization. The data is for modeling and assistive purposes only.
You have the ability to obfuscate the question parameters being sent to the SAAS application. Simply put any sensitive data in double quotes (“) and the application will tokenize the parameter and send the question to the application. When the application returns the API syntax, the tokenized data is then swapped back and sent to the 3rd party platform. Thus the Query.AI will not “see” the specific details of the query being made.
Application & 3rd Party Metadata
To assist the user collect the necessary data at times the solution may need to inspect the 3rd party data source and store metadata about the data source. This metadata is kept in an encrypted data store only accessible by users approved by an organization administrator. The only way to gain access to this metadata is to be a member of the organization, authenticated and then the data is unencrypted at the browser.
The organization administrator has the authority to disable this feature. The impact of disabling could slow queries to specific 3rd party data sources.
For some 3rd party data sources there may be a need to configure a Query.AI proxy. This docker container software proxy (or broker) allows you the ability to access data that the browser would not otherwise be able to connect to. Solutions that require advanced coding or software development kits (SDK’s) typically require a Query.AI proxy. You have the option to either utilize the Query.AI hosted version of the proxy or utilize your own proxy. The downloads can be found in the administration section of the application.
Query.AI has the feature to store service account details of the 3rd party platform however this is not the preferred method. Connections can be stored in the Proxy vault or utilize a SAML service to provide single sign on access (SSO).
